Located just a stone throw away from the hustle and bustle of the main Orchard Shopping Belt, it was important for us to create a soft relaxing retreat for our clients that is calm and tranquil during the day, but even more so in the late evenings. As only the living area really received an abundance of natural daylight, strong emphasis was placed on purposeful ambient lighting in the rest of the apartment and how it interacted with the various materials selected.

A balanced mix of custom furnishings and sourced pieces of furniture litter the apartment in a curated fashion; which is further complimented by the mix of natural stones, wood and hardware sourced from France and the Netherlands. With our clients potentially moving overseas, it was a consideration for us when designing the modularity of the custom pieces, ensuring they could be dismantled and tucked away in storage should the need rise, but still enjoyed to their fullest while assembled.
